Default Engine running rough on a '91 100

It started with a 5 minutes when engine cold, then was ok. Later with more minutes and now it won't go from running rough. Checked the sp.plugs, distribuitor cap, air and fuel filter, fuel pump running ok. What should I do before going to a mechanic? Timing belt has 5000ml since new. Thank you guys.

Default Try replacing the spark plug wires if this hasn't been done recently...

Could also be the temp sensor.

ISV possibly. Check the elbowed 5" rubber tube that connects on the underside of the ISV as well.

Default check A/F ratio...

check the air to fuel ratio. if the intake sir temp is bad, it will most likely full field the fuel pump and send max fuel to the engine. will cause rich conditions and a bogging engine, increased fuel consumption and a strong odor of fuel out the tailpipe.

most accurate diagnosis is with a 5 gas tester, but try opening up the idle screw a little bit at a time and see if it smoothes out. if it does its over-fueling, and id chase after the intake air temp sensor. *make sure that you mark the original position of the screw. this will make it easier to reset everything once you repace the sensor or whatever is a fault*

good luck!!
