Default Euro headlights

OK i see alot of you have installed euros in your 5000/200's What did you do about the front marker lights? I installed my euros, and 2 days later I got a "fix it" ticket for no front parking lights. I am working on modifying the DOT lights to fit, but was wondering how you did it or if you did.

Did you install your "city light" bulbs? These basically take the place of your marker lights.
If not, I would have argued that my car didn't come with them. Must be pretty nitpicky constabulary!

yea city lights are in, but DOT requires amber markers. The cops here are boneheads. I think i have a modded side marker.. will post pics if it works.

I took my sawsall and trimmed some of the inside plastic off my old amber markers. Now they're held in place by the metal trim and and a little silicone seal. I'll find a way to mount the inside lights later.

They dont fit in stock configuration. The ambers are actual lights where the silvers are reflectors only. About 1/2 inch difference in mounting depth. I was successful im making up one side, will get a pic posted soon.

Default I'll post a pic soon too

I don't know how he did it, other than that the car has euros with amber corner markers. I'm a little new to the 5000cs/200, bought my 200q20v on 6 March, but I thought the amber corner markers were just markers with no lights.

US regs require lights visible from the side, unlike city lights
