My 200 20v is in need of a new exhaust system, including the Cats (I've got one that is rattling). The OEM system is extremely expensive so I'm considereing a custom setup converting the dual cats and pipes to a single cat, going to a 3" pipe, doing away with the center muffer and installing only a rear Magnaflow. Has anyone done something similar???? How is the sound level with just a rear muffler??? I'm concerned about an annoying drone without the center muffler.

Yea, that looks like what I was thinking about. I see there is only one muffler,...how does it sound???? How loud??? Unfortunately, I'm in the Chicago area. A custom muffler shop quoted me $750 for a new system, but that included a center muffler. I thought that was rather high.
