Take the new switch to autozone and match it up to one of their enormous sockets on the shelf. I think its listed as a shaft lock nut socket or something and it has a little hole that a small screw driver or Allen key will fit in so you can loosen it without removing anything but the lower rad hose. Then return the part to the store afterwards lol.
