What did he wind that motor up to, 7300 rpm? That can't be too good for the motor, can it? I suppose lightened everything helps, but DAMN!

I showed her the video, she loved it, but it needs to be an avant, and she prefers her pearl wheels.

Default im sure that 20v is BUILT. you can even wind a stock 10v to 7200 just fine.
The IA chip raises the rev limiter to 7200.....

but without the right cam, turbo and other stuff it would be a waste of rpm.

Default stock rev limiter = 7200 RPM... chipped = 7800 RPM on a 20v motor. with some nicely built internals
8000-8500 is no problem

Default Not 7200 on IA Stage 1...
I know because I kept hitting it way before 7200. Really abrupt cutout too...

As for IA Stage 2, I haven't hit it yet.
