The car is running good, but I decided to check for codes for some stupid reason. It's the code for the hall sender. Either bad wiring, bad sender, or a misaligned distributor. If the car is running fine, is there any reason to fix this right away?

I thought it was cleared when you shut the car off. Is there something more that I have to do? I checked again after I turned the car off and took it for a spin. The code is still there. Maybe I should swap the distributor in from my parts car?
