I have been getting the fault code 2312, which refers to the single wire coolant sensor. I went ahead and purchased a new sensor, and still got the fault code. Then I read on SJM that the spade terminals for this coolant sensor and the ISV sensor get mixed up, which happened to be the case for me as well. I got the terminals on the correct sensors, and yet I still get the 2312 fault code.
I do not have a lot of electrical experience, so I was wondering what is the easiest way to determine if I have a bad wiring connection, or a short in the wire, etc.?
Thanks,
Charlie

Silly code wont go away, even with new sensors. Gotta check the wiring from the sensor to the ECU plug. If that checks out, who the hell knows what is next
. Bentley probably says "replace control unit", but it always says that crap.
Im fed up with my coolant sensor code as well.
