Fixed my ignition lock/switch (long)
Hello guys!
Recently I had a problem with my ignition switch.
Instructions on how to take out switch/ignition housing are pretty simple and can be found here
or in Audi 80/90/Cabrio forum. So I'll skip that part.
I put other working switch, but then I was trying to rotate the key it looked like lock isn't touching the switch. I removed ignition lock housing and of course end of the lock was broken:

Everybody were saying in order to take out lock from the housing you need to drill something somewhere. I couldn't find any picture to where exactly to drill. By looking on the above picture I figure out and did a small cut in the housing:

Than I put small flat screwdriver in the cut and pressed the black metal flap, at the same time I put bigger flat screwdriver between housing and the lock's black cap and pry lock out.
Good thing is: do don't need to buy new lock cylinder and carry around two keys instead of one.
This broken end has a small removable pin so you can separate it from the lock:

So I put my lock together with a new (from a scrap) piece.
One more good thing: Audi 80/90 B3 and Audi 100/200 has exactly the same lock housings. My broken piece was replaced with good one from '89 B3 80.
The end!
