Default Fogged headlight

I just got my second car, a 5000s, and it has a couple of problems, like one of the headlights is fogged... my friend said that I can just take the bulb out and wipe the lens, will that be ok? Also, the plastic adjustment nuts for that light are all broken, any ideas where I can pick some up? Thanks a lot.

Default Good luck...

finding something small and pliable enough to get it in there to clean the inside of the headlight glass. The best thing I've found is to remove the headlight and pour some galss cleaner inside and swish it around. Then drain and let dry. Reattach the headlight and you should be ready to rock!

Cool, thanks. I'll go try that in a bit, I guess.

Default Try alcohol...

use the good stuff (for rubbing horses down, you can get it at the hardware store). It will suck up the water, and it drys out much better. Save your fix up money for other stuff, alas you will find things you need it for.

i allready ordered, and it's worth it. the other headlight is newer and better, i believe. better attachment for the light and reflection overall, it'll be good to have two good lights.

[ edit: i forgot to mention, the headlight it's replacing is also broken and has several parts relating to the adjustment missing and/or broken ]
