Default front bearing noise

I have an 87 5ks fwd nf. lately it seems to have a bit on a bearing noise. It seems to come from the right front wheel, and is definatley more noticable when turning slighlty to the right. The noise almost seems to go away when turning left. The car does not even have 60k on it. is the wheel bearing most likely the problem, and is it that hard to change if it is.

thanks

Default Sounds like it.....make sure it isn't cv joint first, and you could get second opinion,

because removing the wheel bearing is a pain. I've heard of some pullers that can press them in and out while in the car, but otherwise you need to pull off the whole strut assembly and have it pressed. I'ts not removing an engine hard, but it isn't as easy as most repairs. if you know what you are doing, I'd say 2-4 hours per side.

Default Re: could also be bad tire

i guess I was hoping it would be a tire, but putting a different set in the front did not change anything.

Default Disk brake dust shield

Make sure it's not the dust shield on the rotor.
