Default Front brake ticking/rattling when hot....

My right front barke is ticking/rattling when the brakes start to warm up. The only way I can get it to quiet down is to firmly apply the brakes. Then it is quiet for a couple of minutes and starts to get noisy again. Any ideas?

I just had the rotors turned about a month ago. The pads are still good also. I checked to see if the slide pin was hanging up but it appears to be fine. Also the brakes do not appear to be overly hot so I don't think they are sticking...

Maybe your brake pads are moving inside the caliper a little. It happened to my dad's Ford and it was a mystery for long time before i discovered the reason - 15k miles old pads needed some insulation to be attached to them so they do not "vibrate" in the caliper. Problem was fixed.

Default Yep I think you're right...

will try to rememdy the situation when I have the time...

I think it get worse with th heat due to the pads and rotors expanding, which causes the "rubbing" to get worse...

Thanks.
