ok did a search in the forume bearing needs to be pressed in i plan to use a two ton portapower do i press the bearing into the strut housing first and then press the hub into the bearing or will the axel nut press the hub on or do i press the bearing onto the hub first and then into strut housing ?? thanks in advance

More like a 12 ton press to do wheel bearings.
You press the bearing into the strut housing, then press the hub into the bearing. The inner races has 2 diameters, the larger diameter faces outward and mates with the hub.
Sounds like you got the wrong axle.
The 5k's used a nut. They also had a different tooth count for the ABS ring.
