Default fuel cutoff thoughts/ramblings

Is it bad not to have the fuel cutoff? I understand that it's a safety measure, but it seems to me that it's just a backup to the wastegate spring? So if that's working properly you shouldn't need a fuel cutoff? SO if one did the megasquirt setup you just wouldn't be concerned with the cutoff anymore? Mega squirt controls the injectors and the fuel pump so that's where the cutoff would have to be if you wanted one.

my thoughts exactly. IF I were to express my thoughts/ramblings on the subject I would type exactly as you did substituting the ?'s for .'s

I would also keep the words like "seems" "if" "think" etc.
