89 200 t, Air con fan (?) starts up when the key is turned on and don't stop.

have now discovered relays 4, 6, 11 are missing,

is this part of the reason the motor is on all time

or is it someones attempt to stop the air con blasting away ?

just pulled the fuse for air con, so at least thats stopped.

Am I right in thinking I need those relays for the air con to work ?(have heaps of spare relays)

Off the top of my head I don't know what those relays do but unless they were just removed I doubt that's the problem. Usually what causes the blower to run non stop is the blower motor control unit. It's located on top of the evaporator housing under the black plastic shroud. Three screws and a wire harness plug into it. Very easy to replace.
