I have used fuel injector treatment for years in my CIS system. A tankfull really cleans the injectors, makes the car run much better, particularily when I can tell that my injectors are dirty.
Best to use the good stuff, like Chevron Techron, or TL3, or maybe its LT3. It is a couple of bucks more then the cheap stuff, but well worth it. The cheap stuff never helped much.

I like to run the tank down to empty, put the treatment in then fill up the tank.

Use with a full tank of gas, don't use more than the manufacturer recommends. Then, run that "treated" tank of gas to near empty. You don't want to dilute the "treated" gas by refueling with say a third of the tank still full.
Usually, you can start to feel the car run better within the first 50 miles of using the "treated" gas.
