I just replaced my heater flap motor in my 20020v.
The climate control diagnostics told me there were no error codes but I wasn't getting any heat.
Since I was getting the flap motor error code last winter and all this year, I figured I might as well replace the motor (about $85 with shipping from Blau.... a french made Bosch part).
I reasoned that the motor was incorrectly telling the climate control that it was in heat mode but the flap positions were indicating the system was still in cooling mode.
After replacing the motor I taped a small bag of dessicant in the compartment where the flap motor lives in the hopes of keeping the feedback pot dry and residue free for a hopefully longer life span. (The one I replaced has an unknown age and started acting up 2 or 3 yrs ago)
I also lubed the flap arms to make less effort for the motor while it's working.... it works pretty good now. I should have checked for movement of the flaps before I removed the old motor... oh well, the old motor has been dissected and discarded.

My heater is blowing cold air. The dealership told me it needs a new thermostat. But, even when the gauge reads high, there is NO heat, just cold air. The hoses going in to the core are BOTH hot. Though they don't feel under pressure.
The Climate control diagnostics don't indicate a problem except 22.1 (A/C Refrigerant High Pressure Switch, static open)
I'm guessing that a flap that controls the air temp by controlling air flow is stuck. How would I find that out? Where are those flaps?
BTW, I have no confidence in the CC OBD.
