alright well heres the story bought this car a lil' bit ago, and it's got 80k sat for 10 yrs in a garage perfectly stored, no rust ext... well I have had a problem staring it. Now it turns over jsut fine, but will not fire. I have replaced the fuel pump, filter, and injectors. Now heres were it get tricky, i get 100lbs of pressure right out of the filter, from there as you know it goes to the distributor, then injectors. Now i have bleed the distributor and it is filtering through fine. (as far as i know). So what I am asking is do I need to do somthing else, since the car has sat for so long. I know the problem is not getting fuel, and the car runs fine from spraying starter fluid in the intake manifold. So does anyone know of anything I could do to get fuel to the enigine or what I have to do. The only thing I see is the distributor is not filtering right (how do i check that). Or i have to do somthing with the system since it sat. Since everything else is pratically new. THanks for all the help guys, I rly appreciate it.

pull the cold start injector and put it in a container. Try to start the car, any fuel? Without a cold start injector it wont start. My 5ks did this and it turned out to be the MFTS sensor.

Loosen the fuel line and see if there is fuel to the injector. If not loosen the line at the distributor.
If no fuel there you have a plugged up distributor or a bad pressure regulator. If you get fuel at the distributor the line is bad (My line on the 5ks was plugged solid).

Also, the cold start valve trick may work in the winter, but here in Atlanta it is 96 degrees today so no CSV will be required here.
Loosen the the bolt holding the injector line to the distributor and then push up on the air metering plate - no gas weepage from the loosened bolt means no gas getting to the injector line...

I think that Steve is correct. You can also access the metering plate by removing the air filter. You should be able reach in and push the arm that holds the metering plate. Check to see if the arm moves freely up and down.
