If anything ever happens to the lines, all you have to do is unscrew them Never having to worry about getting those rusty fittings off ever agian! success.

Default Awesome!

I may have to get with you on this when we do a buddy's car. He just had one burst and spray crap all over his turbo. Yay!

Adam, could you go into a little more detail on exactly how you did those lines? My lines are still the original and I want to change them before they turn into an "issue". Your solution is great, certainly better than going with those over priced factory ones. Thanks.

Nice! Did you have a shop make them for you or did you order parts and fab it together yourself?

My buddy and I at the machine shop did all the measuring and ordered the fittings. The lines were made at a special shop that does that sort of thing. The lines are the same as the factory ones (thermo-plastic) So I am confident with thier reliability. If anyone wants the fitting sizes and stuff, I may still have them written down. E-mail me.

Adam, make up a parts list and I'll post it on my site...

Looks good btw!

Also, the package arrived at my place, should have time to redirect tomorrow. ;-)

I'm just about to change mine when the part comes in ..... are they hard to change ? I can see a couple of allen head bolts
that have to be loosened ..which scares me ...any tricks you know that might help me.
thanks in advance

Default Dimensions............

I dont remember what the lengths of the hoses were? So you'll have to do the measuring for that. You will need to cut off those factory plate fittings and save them. A bigger hole must be cut into them and then threaded. Then you will need to attatch the pipe thread fittings to these (use sealant). Have a hose place make you the lines and crimp on the jick fittings. The smaller line is a size 8 jick. The larger line is a size 12. Both turbo lines will need a 90 degree bend in the fitting. Bring them the old lines and they should be able to figure out the axact bends for the fittings. The line is thermo-plastic, it has a another name but I forget it? it's thermo-plastic inside with steel braided outside. As for the oil cooler, we just threaded it and put the pipe thread fitting in place. I will get the pipe thread fitting sizes tommorow for everyone.

I heated up the bolts with a propane torch, then tapped on them with a hammer. Just to make sure the rust broke loose. I heated them up several times before they broke loose. Make sure you use a METRIC allen bit on a ratchet, dont get lazy trying to use a standard size You'll just end up stripping the bolt head.
