Hi Guys,I am in South Africa.I have a 10valve 200 turbo which idles high,+/- 2000rpm.I have checked for leaks in the intake manifold and found nothing.Any ideas /solutions please help. thanks

1. The little rubber o-ring on the idle adjust ment screw, if it is gone that could be a vaccuum leak.
2. Take the Michelin Man hose between the intercooler and the throttle body off the car. Hold it up to the light and check for leaks. If it is original, it's leaking. Note: these are insidious leaks, they hide. Look closely!
3. Is the valve cover gasket cork or original? If so, replace. Common vaccuum leak.
and
4. The three way hose on top of the valve cover. It likes to leak on the bottom of the three 'legs'.
Let us know what you find out.

Thanks for the help Steve .I found Michelin Man hose cracked on the bottom.Also the 3 way hose is broken/perished where it fits onto the crankcase.I will replace these parts tommorow and let you know.cheers!
