New clutch back in December, The Timing pin decided to part company with the flywheel, there is just a whitish dot where the flywheel pin used to be, Found a site showing the dimensions of the pin, so I think I may be able to weld a new one on, For sure do not what to drop the transmission again…. Be OK in the summer but in a Colorado winter its cold.

No foreign objects in the bell housing either…… Wondering if a loose timing pin could be the cause of all these problem…. Can’t see why it would!

Did not know I had one of them!!! don't think I do have one of them, be to easy otherwise..... Germans only invented Audi to give us Britt’s a hard time.

ISV controlled by the ECU on the 20v not a separate control unit like the 10v.

Default Audi 200 3B 1991, high idle no power

Well its been a while, finally got around to dropping the gear box to get to the broken pin on the fly wheel, the pin had come out slightly from the fly wheel and hit the bell housing and snapped off.

Well she is all back together and running ( sort off) as the original problem is back…..

When cold, she runs fine ( 800RPM at idle ) as the engine warms up so does the idle. Will eventually sits at 1200 RPM when the engine is at normal running temperature.

When at normal running temperature, I have no power ( or Turbo) till around 2500RPM where she will drive normally ( as long as you can keep the RPM high), when driving around town at low RPM she splutters as if she is running out of Gas.
I have noticed when you put your foot on the gas peddle and bring the RPM up slowly, when the engine reaches 1600PRM or there abouts the RPM go’s up and down as it you have hit the rev limiter ??????

I have changed about 90% of the sensors ( the Timing pin sensor and the speed engine sensor are the only ones not changed…… all other have.

How can you test the ECM ? as there is nothing else that can cause this problem !! or is there ??
