Default High Mileage Mods

Alright I have a 1990 Audi 200TQ with 200K on it. The car has been maintain really well and all of that good stuff. Lately I've been looking around for a chip/spring mod. From what I've heard QLCC makes a pretty decent chip/spring set. Do you think it's a bad idea to chip/spring the car with that kind of mileage? If so what would you suggest I replace or strengthen to do this mod safely. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

FrankenAudi is in the neighborhood of 380,000kms. I pushed him well beyond the QLCC limits.

I recommend replacing all your rubber vac lines/hoses. Strap the IC or install a BPV. Get a new MM hose or wrap the old one in tin foil and then duct tape. Install a new WG diaphragm. Then check that the WOT/idle switch is operational.

C'est ca.

email me for more info if you like.

Right! I missed that. You have an MC2 motor. The spring for the WG is the same.

Default Ben Swann?

I searched for him and got his e-mail. I sent an e-mail and it said that the address was no good. I went to his site and stuff, but couldn't find anything. If anyone has a contact for him please tell me, thanks

benswann at comcast dot net (correctly formatted)

let me know if you still cant get hold of him. I can do the chip but dont have a spring. you can get the spring pretty much anywhere as boxer said its the same as the others.
