Default Not hard.

Remove steering wheel (pull horn pad, get 24mm? socket and remove the big nut, pull steering wheel towards you).

Take a long phillips screw driver, there is a hole on the underside of the column cover, there is a phillips screw that points down and to the right (use a flashlight to see it first). Loosen that.

Pull combo switch towards you. Unplug the single-plug connector. Unplug both big multi-pin connectors. Unplug the flat single row connector (this one can be dumb, keep wiggling it or get a small slot-head screw driver and use that to help it apart).

You should now have the combo switch assembly in your hands.

There are two small covers that the control stalks pass through. Those get pulled parallel to the control stalks for removeal. To seperate the combo switch from the rest of the housing you'll need a small phillips screw driver. There are three screws on the back side of the combo switch. While looking at the back of the switch so that "DOT" is upside down and on the left, there is a screw on the upper edge, right next to the #71. Then there is also one between the copper traces of pin 49A and L (upper edge). Third screw is down by pin 49 and 30A on the lower edge. ALL the text will be upside down, so I guess you can flip it 180 and do it that way, but with the text upside down, that is how it sits in the car.

Default Just rememberd that the CS column cover is slightly different than the S, but removeal is similar...

I gave directions for the S variant, not the CS.
