I hate this instrument cluster ... aaarrrgggghhh
fixed the tach and warning system and trip comp.(sort of) now when i drive the miles to empty increases, currently showing 1160 miles to empty ( i wish) and i think my gas guage stopped working FVCK!!!! PAIN IN THE A$$ PIECE OF $HIT AAAAAHHHHHH

I have the exact same problem....
Just fixed everything (light show with turn sigs and hibeam lights, wonky speedo, fukakked auto-check display....) and I thought all was well.
The reason my, and probably your, trip computer won't read correct fuel mileage is that it isn't getting the "gallons used" input. Mine stays at 0.0, and any calculation that needs that number defaults to 0.1 gallons used.
I think I must have missed another break in the traces on the back of the IC. But, where is it?
My fuel gauge works fine, BTW.
