Default I need to find an OE Audi dealer parts vendor

The local Audi dealership (Champion Audi, of Pompano Beach, FL) always marks up parts by 1.75 to 2.5 above list(!). I guess that the margin that's built into Audi's prices isn't enough to pay for their racing team, gardens, etc.

Here's an example: part 431 819 225, gasket. List: $6.85 Champion's price: $13.16 AND they don't stock it.

Can anyone recommend a vendor of Audi dealer channel parts who's content to sell at list price or less?

Default I think pretty much all of the north american dealers are like that.

when you refer to list.. you mean german prices right?

Default Champion Audi (Pompano Beach) is worse than others

No, Champion's not just higher than German prices; they're higher than other US Audi dealers. The lower price in my example was given to me by Scott Mockry, from a dealer in or near Portland, OR.

This is just one of many times that I've found Champion's parts prices to be way out of line.

Audi of North America won't slap Champion's wrists because they're one of the world's largest Audi (and Porsche) new car dealers.

http://www.champion-motors.com/</a

Default Prestige Audi (Miami) quotes reasonable parts prices

Prestige Audi, Miami, quoted $6.75 for the part that Champion Audi, Pompano Beach, quoted at $13.16.

I hope that Champion Audi chokes on their parts . . . the few that they have in stock.

http://www.prestigeimports.com</a
