Default I need to know how to check the CV's on a V8Q

There is a rumbling/vibrating under the car. The LF CV axle was replaced less than 2K miles. I imagine it's the RF but could it be the center shaft or something else?

Well...It sounds like a differential grinding or the gear mesh not right, from what I remember on my old 4X4 Chevy. The CV's click very rarely but do click. I was asking how to determine if certain parts in the drivetrain are worn out. Does the axle move back and forth if it's good and not move if it's gone, etc... I guess I'mm asking if I need to take anything apart to inspect my quattro system or can I tell without turning wrenches?

Have someone drive the car slowly while you walk beside and listen at each wheel. Bad CVs generally will make that clicking sound. Vibration at speed might be bad wheel bearings.

It does'nt do it all the time...when it is doing it, it's worse when I'm on the throttle. Not bad when I let off the throttle. I just really hope it's not the dang tranny. btw, is a slushbox a tranny?

It was doing this when I got it, but I have'nt put many miles on it. Do I just shake everything and se if there is side to side slack on the driveshaft? I'm not sure what the center support is/does? Like I said I'm a Quattro Newbie. My good friend's father was/is a VW/Porsche expert, but he does'nt work on cars anymore. I'm trying to get him to inspect it but I am not a complete idiot. Can't wait to get those manuals.
