Default Sorry for hijack, Andrew > question from Audi news group

There is a post by a person looking for Bruno's in Queens.
Quote:
> Trying to find any info on Bruno's Quattro center at 751 Onderdonk Ave in Ridgewood Queens. This was operated by Bruno Kreibich of SCCA Pro Rally Championship fame.I had work done there on my Audi a couple of years ago, when I worked nearby.I have been trying to contact them in order to have work done on my car,but both telephone numbers come up as out of service, but they are still listed in the online Yellow pages.
Does anyone know if they are they still in business?,have they moved?New phone number???
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Otherwise anyone know of a good Audi knowledgeable repair shop in Brooklyn NY.Don't trust the local dealers.Any help is appreciated.
End Quote:

If you want I can get back to the poster on this.

TIA

Sounds just like when I had a bad fuel filter.

Default I had a knock sensor problem that produced...

Similer issues. Replaced it and torqued it down EXACTLY to spec and stumbling problem gone. Mine seemed more like ignition was retarding as opposed to shutting offf like your describing, but worth a try if you have spare parts.

Default Funky fuel pump relay?

Perhaps a weak pump? Clogged pump? Clogged fuel filter?

Sorry to hear you're having such bad luck with that car.

Default ahh, brunos shop moved to a new location...

I'll get the address tomorrow, the new place is 2 or so miles from the old place and a couple blocks from my father shop, so it makes it easy for me to get those oem audi parts (; I'll let you know ASAP.

Default well small update: today i checked each wire with a timing light...

each time I blip the throttle the engine the #1 cylinder cuts out. This may be simpler than I thought? But tomorrow I'm going to change the fuel filter with a new one I have, check the FP relay like steve suggested and the knock sensor like dan suggested. I may also change the fuel pump with a proven quieter one. But maybe I just need better wires? I was told the wires from the parts 200 were new, but maybe not?? Ugh .. Well thanks so much guys, I'll let you know the results. The car would be close to perfect running and driving if this as well as the overboost problem were solved.
