Car started to get periodic "low idle" - you know where the engine starts to shake rattle & role. I was advised to clean out the ISV with carb cleaner. Soaked the ISV overnight with carb cleaner (did not appear to be that dirty) and reinstalled. Now I get a periodic high idle (1500-2000) as well as a periodic low idle.

Not sure what the real problem is. The ISV solonoid valve worked when I attached wires to a 9 volt battery. Blew through the valve noting that it appeared to be air tight when only slight/moderate air pressure applied - but don't know whether ISV is suppose to be toally closed or hold up to higher air pressure.

I am at a loss and looking for some help.
