If i were to install something in the Audi i wanted to have light up when i turned on the headlights
What wire should i tap into? Obviously the headlight wire, but where can this be found and what is the easiest one to tap into? What color is the wire and where is it located in the car? Thanks in Advance.

Ah it's been awhile...
Lets see if I still remember this...
You can splice in at the headlite switch, ash tray light, cigarette lighter, climate control head, etc, etc...
At the headlight switch, I think you want to splice into the green/black wire or the grey. I can't remember which...
Obviously any brown wire you can splice into for ground or make your own ground elsewhere...
If you don't feel like taking the steering wheel, etc out to do it there then you can do it at the cigarette lighter. You can use it's light source for power. Here you want the grey and blue wire. Again use brown for negative.
LMK how it goes.

Re: i dont wann go to the fuse, cus thats on the other side of the firewall...
Steering column.. back of the headlight switch.. yellow wire is low beams, White is highs.. not sure about parking lights. Should be easy to find with a voltmeter or testlight.

highbeams, lowbeams....what are attempting to do?
A description might help us make suggestions.
As Stephen suggested, from the interior, I'd remove the top plastic cover between the steering wheel and instrument cluster. You'll expose the combo switch's wiring. I also can't remember the colors...but a simple probing with a voltmeter will reveal the lowbeam output and the highbeam output wires.
If you want a feed whether high or lowbeam is on, then add a diode to each tap.

If what you are adding draws much power then
you will kill the switch sooner.
Before you do this you should relay the headlights and take your power from the higher capacity circuit.
