it seems that when I turn the car off and leave it for a while, then go start it back up it puffs smoke? It smells like it's running rich. it will puff smoke for a few minutes? I started it up cold today and it was puffing smoke immediatly. It finally went away when I gave it some quick rpm's. could this be an intermittant fuel distributer? or warmup regulator? i thoght for a minute it could be the turbo burning oil? But it goes away so i suspect that's not the culprit. if it we're burning oil it would probably be a continous thing.
I'm really really glad the forums are back!!! I was having withdrawels![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Bluish grey? and there is alot of water dropplets shooting out, but I think thats only when its cold? I'll have to check and see if it blows water when hot too.

it did it again today and my garage was full of carbon monoxide
It is for sure running rich upon startup. it keeps doin it until you get through the gears and drive. I am confused here? what is causing this? and why does it go away so quick?
O2 sensor is under 5000 miles old
fuel distributer was replaced with a used unit last year....
Could it be the air plate sticking?
