I have bent the factory jack and have a napa floor jack. Where can I put it under the v8? I head that it is bad to put it where the factory jack goes.

if i recall correctly, the owners manual says there are small triangles in the rockguard (''sideskirt'') that show where to jack from. i always just used one of the built in support beams in the unibody, close to a wheel.

On my 1990 v8s, there are cushioned lift points designed for use with car hoist arms. I put those into the cups on my floor jacks when I'm jacking up the car.
If yours doesn't have those padded lift points, I'd use a block of wood on the floor jack and lift the car at the point intended for the OEM jack. I've used chunks of 1" thick pine for that purpose. Jack and the jacking point both push into the pine, but the paint on the lift point remains intact.
