Default Was this the car with the pancake six cylinders motor?
similar to the porsche 911 pancake motor except that it is water cooled???

Default A friend in town has such a synchro van
It's still at the installer's, working out some bugs like air conditioning lines. I don't think it's the SVX, some big water-cooled boxer. Fast.

My wagon 1988 had a turbo which dumped right into the intake, no intercooler. Maybe that is why it was not that quick. It also had an automatic which was really a slug. Does the SVT?

No ic would make it quicker on response, just limiting the amount of boost you can run.
