hello picked up a 1987 audi 5000 cs quattro 2.2 turbo about a month ago and i started to have problems. Car is running extremely ****ty and when i pulled off the metal tube from the turbo to the inlet on the air housing there was a good amount of oil in there... What does that mean?

That's pretty funny, "here's your problem, but, I don't know what I'm talking about", pretty funny, made me laugh.
I do know some oil is normal, but, "large amount" would indicate a turbo issue as it is the only oil using device in the intake. Good luck!

Oil is probably from the crankcase and is normal for high mileage cars. The accordion hose from the intercooler to the throttle body frequently rips on its bottom surface, which causes poor performance. Read troubleshooting ideas found here: http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/troubl...g/trouble.html
