Hey 5000Q86. You bet your monkey you can Chip that bad boy. You wil find tons upon tons of information in these forums and other websites on the procedures, different chip Burners out there that offer up different chips, packages, parts for the mod ect.

One of my favorits that I have done buisness with is a real nice fellow named Ben Swann from QlCC here http://www.gtquattro.com/qlcc.html
I have used his chips and have had no trouble with them and they all work great, I've also bought a stiffer WG spring from him aswell at a reasonable price and have never been disapointed with his service and wilingnes to help. So for a start you might want to check him out at the link I put up. There are a few other very reputable Chip makers around aswell but Ben's service has given me no reson to switch and try another.

Hope that helps for a start mate and good luck!

Cheers,

Michael.<ul><li><a href="http://www.gtquattro.com/qlcc.html">http://www.gtquattro.com/qlcc.html</a</li></ul>

Default Search the forum archive this has been covered alot over the years here.

Search for QLCC or Boxerfan for start. Also look at what you need to do the prep the car for chipping. Benn offers a neat DIY kit for chipping.<ul><li><a href="http://www.gtquattro.com/qlcc.html">Benn Swann's site</a></li></ul>

hey firechicken, thanks for the lead, i visited the site and he seems to know his stuff. at the current time im trying to get the car running right, i purchased the car with the stiffer WG spring already installed and with the factory ecu code, i know its cutting out fuel at WOT. i emailed him asking for a stock spring, the previous owner LOST the factory spring... but ill be purchasing a chip from ben in the near future. thanks again!!
