I've got an 89 200 Turbo quattro with a cruddy stock suspension. Struts? Yeesh
Its not even slightly responsive or stiff :P
My previous car was an 87 RX7 TurboII (harsh, responsive, and downright amazing handling), so harsh riding is not something I mind.
I most likely need something height adjustable, as clearance to the wheelwells is less than adequate with 17x8 wheels.
I'm considering adding negative camber to the rear to tuck the wheels, anyone do this? I realize wear might be worse, but everything's a tradeoff..
Anyone have anywhere to find coilovers?
I know about ECS and Blau for springs/shocks

As far as running negative camber, I did for about a year, using a 2 in. drop intrax spring, stock 215 60 15's. Very hard on the tires, lost an inside edge that came apart @25,000 miles on the yoko's, along with having to replace booth rear hub bearings, could have been just normal wear and tear tho. And yes the the rear did have a tendecy to get loose at times.

on my 89 200tq. They fit fine. I originally had 215s on them and no problem. When I went to 225s there was a slight rub. This has been mostly reduced by inducing as much stock neg camber as possible (I think it's about -0.6). Now it's very minimal and can be lived with. You probably don't want to induce any more neg camber in the rear anyway. It's the fronts that need more neg if you want to do some really hard cornering.
FYI my wheels are Fittipaldi Polaris, 17x8 et35
