You will need an alignment tool to keep the driveshaft straight while you measure and shim the center support bearing. If you do this incorrectly you will know it because the vibration is impressive.

persoanlly i'd go this route...
I've also got BMW's and this place has been highly recommended for BMW driveshafts, they also do audi.
