Well, on list there 3 kinds of replies:
- No reply cause no solution
- Reply to tell nothing to say
- Good reply with solutions.
I prefer serious reply , instead keep them in your head.

Because locating a PT code flywheel for the V8 is extremely difficult, especially in the US. You're best shot is to just buy it at the dealer if you really need it....or keep your fingers crossed for a very long time until somebody parts out their V8 5spd. The V8 5spd is rare itself, so finding somebody who even owns one is a bit of a project. Getting someone to part it out...don't count on it.

I know where approx 20 of those cars are located at the moment. Only 1 of those 20 is a parts donor and its flywheel resides in a 5spd converted 93 V8 located in SE PA.
Considering the rarity of the 5pds and the 13 years since they were imported what do you think your odds of finding a flywheel off one by just asking on a message board?? Especially considering you're about the 5th person in the last month to ask? Probably the same odds as you finding one in Wonderland.
I'm thinking anyone that anyone has one and is on a message board would post it for sale for between 200 and 300 because they know its a dealer only part with a list price of nearly $500.
Going further....there are at least 5 people heavily involved in Audi's looking hard for any available flywheels.
Better?
