What is the car model? I have R&R fuel pumps w/o a tool. The only difficult part was the stupid lid. On that I used a brass drift and a hammer, it just screws off cc. 89-200TQ and a 90 100. AIRC the rest is cake, it sits on three rubber adapters. Shock mounts, and can only go in one way.

<center><img src="http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/trouble_shooting/fuelinjection/3214_tool.jpg"></center><p>He doesn't have the triangular rubber mounting fixture hose-clamped to his fuel pump like the earlier cars. He has the more recent (1990 V8, 1991 200 with 20 valve, etc.) plastic basket that twists into a larger plastic basket. The tool he's talking about is the one in the picture from Scott Mockrey's resourceful website.
