I don't get offended often. Sometimes people forget to do the simplest things and I didn't remember everything I did.

Does it rev past 4000 under no loads such as when the car is in neutral or park? Could be a clogged muffler(s). An Engine is nothing more than a pump. The more air it takes in the more air it must pump out. If the muffler(s) are clogged it will limit the amount of air it can take in. With the limit amount of air that it takes in the engine can only produce so much horsepower. Example run a quarter mile, next run the same distance but this time tape your mouth shut and one nostril shut. You will understand my analogy.

Have you checked your MAF lately? A dirt MAF could cause the ECU to produce a lean mixture and a loss in power.
