Hi all.

I posted a while ao a problem I had with the car running to high on rpm's for the speed.
Well, finally I got to open the final drive and guess what? I had installed a inal drive from a 200 Quattro, with 3,88 final drive instead of the Automatic's 3,08....

Gear must have 37 teeth instead of the 38 of the quattro.
Pinion must have 12 teeth instead of the 11 in the quattro....

Anyone?

I know I am being a bit catastrophic, but I have no way of finding one over here ( Spain), as not many automatics were ever sold here.

Anyhow, if someone could give me an idea. Shipping could be arranged to send to Canada instead of directly to Spain.

I'll add that if there is someone interested in the gear and pinion I have have, I would gladly send it to whom might needed as interchange and/or good price.
Looks new and has 145000 milles on it.
