I only have a key for the ignition and glove box on my car. The one that works for the door locks and trunk was stolen before I bought the car. I went to the local Audi dealership and they said the car is too old and they can't do it anymore. I really don't want to go to a locksmith b/c they will charge my sac off. Is there anywhere online or does anyone know of somewhere that will make this key for me? Thanks.

Remove the lock and remove all the tumblers. This way any key will work, but you will be the only person to know this (along with all the readers on this list).
Or remove the lock and take it to a locksmith to key it to your ignition key. The key for the ignition and glove box should also work for the doors and trunk. It sound as though someone already changed the door or trunk locks.

Yeah on my 90 the key works for everything so I don't know what the deal is with this car. As for removing the lock, should I just remove a door handle and do it like that? Also can you describe more about removing all the tumblers?
and the car will lock but any key will unlock it right?

Here's a link in removing the lock. Your car should be similar to this. Insert your key even if it isn't the correct key, remove the circlip which holds the cylinder, but be careful there are small springs and the tumblers will fall out if you don't have a key in the lock. You can discard the springs and tumblers if you are planning on using your ignition key. Place the cylinder back into the lock and reassemble in reverse. Now your key (or any audi key) will open your door.
Another alternative is to go with a remote opener/lock setup, but you will still need the trunk key in case your battery goes dead. You can access the car locking system from within the truck and use a pump (bike pump) to open the car.

lock assembly
