I don't want to enlarge the hole. I already bought one of his GM products...
but it requires drilling and tapping as well. I don't want to remove the IM to keep the shavings out.

How much? I need one for the spare harness, eventually.
Another option is to relocate the sensor somewhere else.
Best option is to take of the throttle body. The air temp sensor hole on the 3B manifold is pretty close and you could easily control shavings as you drill out the hole.
