Hi everyone, love the forum. Here is some pics of my ride a 1985 Audi 500se 2.2 (as it is called in South Africa)

It only has one modification that I know of - The car was converted from automatic to manual transmission by the previous owner.

500SE? MB badge?

No the badge doesn't come from a Mercedes, these Audi's were caled 500se's in South Africa. The whole range consisted of the 400 it has a 1.8 4 cyl engine and the you had the 500, 500e, 500se and 500se Turbo models (they all had the 2.2 5 cyl engine)

Do all the 500's come with the turbo style lights, or did you put those on?

Only the 500se &amp; 500se Turbo came with these lights, so those are the lights my car came out with.

Very nice. Thanks for the pics. Looks like it's in excellent shape. I find your climate control very interesting. Was this the way they all came? In N America all the 5000's (500se's) came with digital automatic climate control.
