I need to replace mine soon...been getting not the greatest gas mileage lately. Think it could be because of the O2 sensor needing to be replaced? Any other mechanical reasons for the poor gas mileage?

my experience with the 02 sensor, is that driveability becomes poor. The rich/lean of the fuel mixture is controlled by the 02 sensor, so acceleration becomes a stumbling, bumbling event, when the 02 sensor is going bad..........Rooster

I just had mine cleaned (only 1yr old) and I am watching my gas mileage get better and better each minute. I'll know the full results after driving it tomorrow.
