i finally got all the bugs worked outta my 5k and went to jumpstart the car. after a few minutes of charging i flashed the highs to make sure i was getting power and i was. but heres the weird thing...i flicked the switch for the low beams and the dash lights dont turn on but the outside lows and parking lights do. any suggestions?? thoughts??...anything....its hard to drive at night....

Did you try the rheostat for dash lights?

Checked the fuse? Do the rear license plate lights come on?

yeah that was the first thing i checked. i also unplugged the fuel pump fuse so i could prime the motor before i started it....before that was unplugged they worked. german electronics are SO confusing...

i checked the fuse, and all checks out. except for one thing. its fuse number 12, a 15 amp fuse, which has the differertial locks, reverse lights, self diag system, and instrument cluster on it. everything but the cluster and the reverse lights work. im very lost.
