I just recently swicthed from Castrol GTX to Mobile 1 and noticed a sizable gain in gas mileage. I have no leaks on my 86' 5000TQ though. Before I always used a quart of petrolium based engine oil additive w/ my oil change, esspecially in winter. Lucas products makes it. I have 105k on my 5000 and it ticks for about 30 seconds after startup in winter, then purrs like a kitten. I may swicth back for winter from the mobile 1... we'll see.
