Re: Sounds like the caps loose.

Make sure you clean all of the threads up well, I've had this exact situation occur, the cap was not tight enough.

Sorry Steve,
I wanted to tell you about the internal bumpstops and totally spaced it.
About three months ago I threw out seven of those tools and split the best conditioned two between my brother and I.
If all else fails let me know and I'll send it to you.

No problem Myke...

I was relieved to find that the Bilsteins had internal bumpstops...

BTW, I did get the strut caps tightened today and the clunking is gone. Thanks for the offer on the tool though.
