Scored all KINDS of good stuff yesterday. Took a trip up to Phoenix (from Tucson - ~2 hrs) to 'have my way' with a couple of Audi 5k parts cars. Many thanks to 'ravidrabbit' for all the wonderful parts, and helping me get what I wanted off his two Audi "carcasses". Returned from Phoenix with a wagon full of good stuff!

Usually getting parts off in my part of the world is a pain, bucause they've rusted away, or are seized on soild..
My GF laughed at the 'normal expansion' part.
She's trying to get me to 'conslidate' my parts stash. Even gone as far as scoring me some shelving to 'organize' my parts..
At least she understands.. She has horses!

Anything that has issue with heat and direct sun (rubber, plastic, etc) doesn't fair too well, but otherwise rust isn't that much of an issue here. Oddly though, my Audi spent 13 years of it's life in Chicago, so I do have to deal with rusted bolts
.
Nice to have a supportive SO. My wife got me some shelves as well for the very same purpose
