Default Perhaps, V8 water pump?

Lately, there is a rattling coming from one of the pulleys driven by the serpentine belt. Have not yet gotten out the stethescope to find which one, but plan on doing so. I'm figuring its a bearing.

Also, after driving and turning off - the temp. guage will hit about 110C on an immediate restart. However, the guage goes right back to under 100C when driven again and does not run hot while driving. I'm thinking water pump. Any thoughts? If water pump, does anyone know about the work involved with replacement?

I think the water pump is driven by the main TB, rather than the Serpentine belt.

Two of the pulleys can be changed. Just need to order two new ones, and they screw in. One is the adjuster, and the other is a fixed one.

Check the belt too.
