I just got one from him and it makes a tremendous difference in the spoolup time of my turbo - I'm quite impressed with it.
At first it really didn't look like it was going to work - its small in comparison to the stock 20020v spring (that is, it is short and thin) the stock spring is a good inch or inch and a half longer and probably 3/4 inch wider in diameter but once you have the WG cap back on there, I think the stock spring is compressed to the point that there is still pressure on the little guy.
And while the little guy may appear small - its a rugged little spring that impressed me.
I'm now seeing boost significantly sooner than with just the adjustable WG spring modification and it comes on like a freight train - I still need to play with my adjustable screw on top to fine tune a little bit - I blew by 21 PSI (what my chip is rated to) without any effort - too little effort - as in I bet I could overboost right up to 25 or 30 PSI which would not be pretty. I know that once I've got it completely dialed in with the adjuster its going to be perfect.
Thanks for the good deal Andrew - I'm happy.
*note for those reading this and are not familiar with the car - its a 20v with a gt2871 turbo - this spring works great for my application.

Although I did not get my WG spring from Boxer, I did get a "Pretty Yellow" (my wife's favorite color) MAC11C ecu from him, with modified QLCC code... I'm getting up over 1.8, very smooth (for a 20 year old car), and power at low end is much better....
