The worst, and usually cheapest, bombs are made by Meyle.
Febi's are good.
Lemforder's are prolly the best.
FWIW, the previous owner of my 1988 5000CSTQ had paid over $400 to have a new bomb installed around 2002. It was junk when I bought the car in 2004. I have no idea who made it or even if his mechanic cheated him by installing a used one, but it was definitely not maintaining any pressure when I bought the car. I replaced it with a Lemforder (bought from a Worldpac reseller).
